Cool Whip

A day of fun at Day Care for Alaena - Cool Whip Play Time

Friday, November 21, 2008

Align CenterJust a little picture to let you know we made it to Alabama. The temperature is 56 degrees. The temperatures seem to be a little low this year.

We had our friends over for breakfast today. Fun was had by all. Tonight we will play games with them to pass the time and socialize. That is different for us.

We will have Thanksgiving at the Clubhouse. Gary and some of the other guys in the park will deep fry two turkeys and the gals will roast one. Everyone will bring a dish and there will be TOO much food. Here we go again - eat, eat, eat.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone.

Cereal, Bathroom, & Quilt Square

The above and below in the remodeled bathroom without any decorations. This old house is coming along - slow but sure. The walls are yellow, but do not show in the picture. It was hard to get a picture because the space is so small.

I made this quilt square for the kitchen wall by the table. The embroidery was done on my machine. A fun project.

Last Week we were able to visit Eric, Kindra and Alaena. We were able to witness the first cereal feeding. The pictures below are of that event.

DEDICATED TO NANCY

Grandpa and Grandma with their newest grandchild, Alaena - 5 months old. What a joy she is to all of us.
The girls - Grandma, Alaena and Mom.

More of the kitchen project.

Nancy, Ray and Sophie came to visit us early in August. It was much fun playing with Sophie and we were happy that they took the time out of their short vacation to visit us in Rogers City. Now we cannot wait until Ashlyn is old enough to visit.
This bird was taking a walk down First Street in Rogers City on a nice morning.
Kindra, Eric and Alaena on their first visit to Rogers City.

Andy came to Rogers City to visit us in August. We took him out for breakfast. You know what he ordered. Pancakes. They served him a plate size pancake. It was great to have him hear and look forward to more visits.

The following are pictures of the kitchen FINISHED. It was a long project. Gary did a wonderful job and we will have many memories and stories to tell about the project. We are now beginning to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Hi, everyone!

It is July 13, 2008 and we do not know where the time is going. On Thursday we went down to visit Eric, Kindra, and Alaena for the weekend. Upon arriving home the big news is that gas in Rogers City is $4.44.9 per gal. Standish was $419.9.

We had a good time in Clawson. Plus we had a bonus. Scott and Celeste were able to join us. We all had a great visit.

I have included pictures of the weekend and you will never guess who is in all of the pictures.

Sorry we up no updates on our projects. We though our bathroom would be readly for paint tomorrow, but not luck. The drywaller did not show up while we were gone. Maybe by the weekend. Gary is coming along and will probably be close to done with the kitchen in three weeks.
